“Summer’s gone; winter’s here, and if you’re happy give a big CHEER… oops!” Clair tripped over a cloud and snorted loudly.
“Clair!” Jessica hissed. “Be quiet!” The two angel friends turned their attention back to school. RIIIINNNGGG! The bell went for the end of school.
“Come on, Jess!” Clair giggled as the two angels flew home. “Lighten up!” Jessica stuck her tongue out at Clair and grinned cheekily.
“Ooh look- a cloud parting!” Clair swooped down excitedly, to peer through the clouds.
“Clair!” Jessica caught up with her friend. The two angels peered down below.
“We’re above the North Pole,” said Jessica wisely. “Look at all the snow.”
“Be quiet you ignorant fool!” A cold sharp voice rang up to heaven.
“Ouch,” said Clair nervously, and laughed shakily.
